Ancient Lakes Hike

Some of our girls were anxious to go out on a hike, despite lingering winter weather at higher elevations. We traveled to the trailhead of the more rigorous route to Ancient Lakes, a beautiful oasis of lakes in the high desert. We enjoyed a delicious trail lunch on the edge of one of the lakes with some incredibly beautiful weather.
