Campout at Delaney Property

On what was expected to be a very wet and rainy weekend, the girls in Troop 219 were thrilled to move forward with a campout under less than ideal weather conditions this past weekend. They not only added new levels of experience to their camping skills, but they began the Cooking Merit Badge and made some delicious Dutch oven lasagna and apple dump cake under the direction of our resident Dutch oven expert Sheila Schweiger. Under the falling rain, the girls gathered around the campfire, laughing and performing skits and getting to know one another even better.
