Fire Starting Skills

We had a break in our meeting schedule due to a worldwide outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, which caused school cancelations and called for limitations on groups gathering together. We had hoped the limitations would be temporary, but when circumstances did not improve, we made the decision as a troop to begin gathering together via Zoom to continue as best we could to do Scouting activities together. This week Ashitha and Aditha led us with instruction on how to safely and effectively start fires. While meeting online for this activity was not ideal, it was still fun to follow along and start fires in our backyards together.
