Hike to Rachel Lake

On August 23rd, some of the troop gathered for a quick campout at Ensign Ranch near Cle Elum. After a fun evening and restful night, we embarked to the Rachel Lake Trailhead to begin our six-mile hike to Rachel Lake. A few of the troop members continued past Rachel Lake up Rampart Ridge to Rampart Lakes, in order to complete a 15-mile roundtrip hike for their Hiking Merit Badge. It was a tough climb up to Rachel Lake, but everyone did awesome and got to soak in some amazing Washington views.
