Our First Camporee

On April 26, 2019, we loaded up seven of our girls from Troop 219 and embarked on our very first campout together at the Spring Camporee for the Blue Mountain Council down at Martin Scout Ranch near Pilot Rock, Oregon. The girls did great competing with all the boy troops in a wide variety of events, but most importantly, they had a lot of fun, and learned a lot about staying warm when camping in chilly weather. The girls ate well, became better friends and were exhausted by Saturday evening, when it was time to go home.
