Service Project for Strides

On May 16th, we traveled out to Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center for a Troop 219 service project. We got a tour of the center and learned about the important work they do for our community. Then we divided into groups to spread wood chips evenly throughout the center of the corral, hang name signs near the gate of each horse's pen, as well as provide grooming and attention to some of the therapy horses. It was rewarding and lots of fun.
